In response to the specific needs of the operators in this sector, B&R have formed a partnership with the Highway Electrical Association (HEA), previously ASLEC and HEMSA, forming Highway Electrical Risk Management Insurance Services (HERMIS).

Through HERMIS, members of the Association have access to insurance schemes that offer cover enhancements, a dedicated service and claims handling team, together with highly competitive premiums and an interest free payment programme.

Chris Hutchins - Our HERMIS Specialist

Chris began his career in 1977 working as an underwriter for the Norwich Union before leaving to pursue a career in Broking. During the 1980’S Chris held senior positions with two respected insurance Brokers spending sometime working in London during which he developed a sound understanding of Lloyds and London insurance markets.
In 1991 Chris joined B&R where he is now a Director of the business and one of our most experienced account executives and has been instrumental in the development of many scheme facilities for affinity groups and trade associations.
Chris brings a wealth of experience to HERMIS, the specialist insurance service for operators in the highway electrical sector. Working closely with the trade associations HEMSA and ASLEC, and most importantly their members, Chris is able to ensure our HERMIS products deliver benefits and savings that both complement and enhance trade association membership.
